Belize City, Belize, C.A., March 02, 2007 — The National Reform Party Belize informs the nation of Belize that Mr. Cornelius Dueck, Party Leader will be conducting a National Tour of the different Districts in our country. The purpose of this tour is to meet with the Belizean people on a personal basis. It will also include the support and presentation of the Division District Candidates in the area. This campaign will begin Saturday, March 3, 2007 and will continue until all of Belize is covered.
The National Reform Party believes that people are important. Even when National Reform Party is looking for the support of the party, the main focus is the Belizean people. Our Party Leader, Mr. Dueck, wants to hear first hand the needs of the people. As it is stated in our Party Constitution, the people are first and foremost, NOT THE PARTY. This is something that is difficult to understand when politics in Belize has been quite the contrary.
The National Reform Party wants the participation of the people in defining the needs that affect them; but most importantly, the people have to also give their own recommendations to the solutions of those needs. It is crucial for the people to take part in the decision process because this country does not belong to a Party, but to the Belizean people and everyone has to take ownership on the responsibility to build a new Belize. People need to understand that they can be masters of their own actions and not only be recipients of the actions of people in power.
The National Reform Party of Belize wants to give the people of Belize an alternative in the upcoming elections. Do not let others tell you about the NRP, but get first hand information by meeting our Candidates and Leader during this National Tour. This is a first opportunity to get to meet those that will provide that option that the people have always craved for in the past. Do not let this opportunity pass you can make a difference in our country.
Mr. Dueck will with Candidate Manuel Avila in Corozal District at 2 pm on Friday, March 02, 2007. On Saturday morning, March 3, 2007 he will be at Blue Creek with Candidate OW South, Mr. Enio Lopez at Blue Creek and other communities; and Saturday afternoon will meet with Mr. Hilberto Nah, Candidate for OW North, starting at Trial Farm Village and other surrounding villages.
